1997 PACIFIC STAR Zinfandel Reserve,
Mendocino, B-Bar-X Ranch
Lots
of ripe raspberry jammy fruit with smoky cedar notes riding
shotgun. Medium bodied, this Zin has length and the fruit is rich
and ripe. From a rather obscure
producer in north Mendocino, it's a little
pricey at $20.
