Petite Sirah, Mendocino, Orpheus Private Reserve
Unexpectedly
soft tannins frame delicious flavors of ripe blackberries and
cherries, with suggestions of chocolate, coffee and herbs. The fruit
turns slightly tart on the finish, introducing a refreshing dash of
acidity. While it's not exactly heavy and rich, with everything going
on, you get quite a mouthful for around $18.
