1999 HUSCH Chardonnay,
Mendocino
Crisp
and flinty, with jazzy citrus notes adding zing and spice. The ample
finish shows some honeyed vanilla and tropical fruit, along with green
apple, but the bracing citrus acidity prevails. Enough going on here to
provide lots of interest. Certainly not your overly oaked California
Chard.
