1999 SHEPHERDS RIDGE
Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough
Herbal
aromas, with nectarine and grass, carry onto the palate, picking up
grapefruit citrus notes. Crisp and flinty enough in the mouth, it
finishes with some suggestions of spicy nutmeg. Wine Spectator
gives a 90, which we think is a bit much because it lacks brightness and
boldness.
