Lawson's Dry Hills

1999 LAWSON'S DRY HILLS Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough   Another delicious Kiwi Sauvi from the Marlborough appellation.  Bright and bold classic bouquet of passion fruit, quince and stone fruit, which turns slightly vegetal as it lingers.  On the palate it picks up tart apple and peach flavors, with a floral edge, wrapped in steely, bracing racy, spicy citrus.  Its only weakness is revealed on its slightly monochromatic tart lemon finish.  But still a good effort, nonetheless.
