1999 HUA Sauvignon
Blanc, Marlborough
Moderate
aromas of stone fruit and quince carry a floral edge. The palate
gets zinged by lots of grapefruit aided by the quince, with the floral
thing coming through retro nasal. A little lacking in flavor
complexity and a tad high in price, it still is a satisfying version of
the Kiwi Sauvi genre.
