2000 BRANCOTT VINEYARDS Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough
It
sports a grassy, vegetal lemon citrus nose, coming off steely and
austere. Lemon lime citrus dominates the palate, with vegetal asparagus
flavors taking over on the finish. But it's missing the fruit flavors of
quince and stone fruit normally found in Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc,
preventing this from being really tasty. Not a great result from a great
vintage for Kiwi Sauvi.
