1997 FATTORIA DI RODANO Chianti Classico, Castellina Like most Chianti, this is not an overpowering red. But it possesses a certain rustic charm and does a good job of expressing a feeling of its terroir. Aromas and flavors of dark ripe berries embellished with smoke and earth are delivered in a light body, with a finish that hangs on enough to echo the earthy fruit.
