Ca' Du Giaj

1999 CA' DU GIAJ Moscato d Asti  Very sweet, a good desert wine or even a great Sunday brunch wine due in part to its Sparkling nature & low alcohol level (5.5%). The bubbles are not quite as intense as in a champagne. The flavors are of Apples & Pears with a long pleasant finish--never turns tart or bitter--the flavors just kind of linger nicely in the mouth. It's not an everyday or everybody wine but a good example of the style--very pleasing.                                                      08/02/00             Steve
