2001 ANTINORI Sangiovese, Toscana Santa Cristina Scents of earth and toasted wood join aromas of dark berry fruit. Fruit flavors get delivered in a medium body with moderate ripeness and plenty of acidity (Hey! It's Italian.) It musters up enough length to keep it interesting and would merit consideration for service with pasta in a red sauce.  About $9                        09/25//02             Tom
