1999 ALPHA DOMUS Chardonnay,
Hawkes Bay
Grapefruit
and tropical fruit dominate at mid palate while lots of oak and honey hang
onto the lasting finish. Not a lot of acidity and not a lot of palate
weight, but the intense honey notes on the finish deliver a lot of implied
richness. All in all, you have an attractive effort from this Aussie
producer.
