1996 LES JAMELLES Merlot
Vin de Pays d'Oc
Aromas
of ripe, sweet cherry fruit greet you with this little French red, along
with a nice earthiness and a flash of vanilla and spice. The flavors are
a little more straight forward, mainly dark, tart fruit. With a nice
note of acidity and a light to medium body, the wine shows a pleasant
fruity finish with a tease of vanilla. Quite a lot going on for well
under $10.
