Chardonnay, Limoux
From
the south of France comes this sedate little Chardonnay sporting modest
flavors of spicy ripe pear and pineapple with just a touch of smoke. While
lacking much of a nose, it shows off pleasing vanilla notes that join in
at mid palate and carry onto an adequate finish. And, with just enough of
citrus acidity to give things a zing, at this price it deserves some
consideration.
