CHATEAU WANTZ

1999 CHATEAU WANTZ Gewrztraminer, Vin d'Alsace Reserve, Particuliere Lychee fruit, almond blossom, roses, citrus! This thing is packed with forward aromas and flavors that are classic for the varietal. Soft at mid-palate, it gets crisp on the finish and, while quite floral, remains dry all the way through. A delightful version of the genre, it's from Alsace, where Gewurz was born.  About $13                      8/23//02             Tom
