1997 CHATEAU PESQUIE La Quintessence Cotes Du Ventoux
With
14.5% alcohol, the aromas and flavors of raisin and cranberry reveal a
fermented/candied nature. Full bodied, with slightly chewy tannins,
plums join in on the adequate finish. Interesting, with pronounced
flavors, this rustic red is reminiscent of the French Country side. No
wonder Robert Parker, Jr. sings its praises.
