1993 CHTEAU DE BEAUCASTEL
Chteauneuf-du-Pape
Highly acclaimed (and pricey) southern Rhone red has a huge earthy nose with
suggestions of rustic cheese and roses. Its flavors have an earthy floral
character to them, along with cherried fruit. Quite a funky wine. Maybe not
the best year for Beaucastel.
