1997 VIA SAN PEDRO Cabernet Sauvignon,
Gato Negro
Faint
fruit and chocolate aromas emanate from this Chilean red, with its
slightly inky ruby color. The attack is that of dark cherries but
fades quickly. Tannins are no problem and the wine has a slight
acidic note to it. All in all, it is a rather simple, light bodied red,
and with no nose but nice flavors, it is sort of an inverse Beaujolais.
