1999 SEVEN PEAKS Cabernet Sauvignon,
Central Coast
This
one does not conform to your normal Cab profile. The nose carries
earthy, dark fruit aromas with a distinct spearmint edge. Moderate, musty tannins
host a replication of the bouquet on the palate. Its all served up in a
medium body, resulting in a most interesting wine for the price. Certainly
a different take on Cabernet Sauvignon. About $12.
