Seven Peaks Winery

1997 SEVEN PEAKS Cabernet Sauvignon, Central Coast  Impressive nose with waxy, buttery aromas, somewhat nut-like, overriding the fruit, along with herbal, menthol eucalyptus notes.   All melds nicely together onto the palate with the tannins being somewhat firm, creating quite a mouthful, while the finish picks up on some spicy clove.  Very interesting Cab for around $13.
