Robles white has a pleasant pale greenish gold color and a light to
medium body. It was aged in French and American Oak, losing some
of its varietal character. It has an odd nose of minerals with a
hint of fruit but the flavors are lovely: the attack is nice vanilla
with a touch of melon, turning to a crisp tart lemon and spicy
finish. It is somewhat round in the mouth, possibly from
malolactic fermentation. About $14 09/15/98
