Petite Sirah,
Paso Robles
Delectable
aromas of brambly fruit, candle wax, succulent sweet oak and violets
definitely raise an eyebrow or two. Pouring like 30w motor oil, this
Petite Sirah aint petite. Massive, with big juicy tannins and
plenty of body to coat the inside of the mouth, it delivers moderately
ripe fruit flavors, while the chewy tannins dominate the finish. Soft? Not
even. But, serve this along side char grilled beef or rack of lamb and
watch what happens. Could be heaven. 08/12/01
