plays a major role here in a setting of sweet oak. The bouquet is
classic: tropical fruit, citrus and vanilla bean. And while it has
moderate depth and richness, it is not big and buttery, and the overuse
of oak is not a factor. With all the acidity it would work well with
chicken or seafood dishes that employ a cream sauce. A nice rendition of
the California Chard genre. About $15.
