Goldwater

1999 GOLDWATER Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, Dog Point Classic Kiwi Sauvi with an herbal, vegetal bouquet, progressing to pi pi du chat. Nectarine and peach join in on the palate, with ripe apple and jazzy grapefruit, which flows onto the nice, lingering finish. While not possessing the brightness and boldness of the best of this genre, and a bit pricey, it is a good example of "down under" Sauvi.  About $18.                 08/06/00               Tom
