Things
start out with candied cherry aromas that carry a slightly smoky edge.
Tart fruit flavors hit the palate, yielding to loads of earthiness on
the finish. Probably not recommended as an aperitif, this might work
with a rustic red meat dish like roast leg of lamb or some spicy
sausages.
